A Perforated Liner is a wellbore tubular in which holes have been made before the string is assembled and run into the wellbore. Perforated liners are usually used in small-diameter wellbores or in sidetracks within the reservoir where there is no need for the liner to be cemented in place, as is required for zonal isolation.
