Safety Clamps

The Safety Clamp consists of individual links, flexibly hinged together and is one of the most valuable tools on the rig floor.  It helps to prevent dropping flush drill string components into the hole while making-up or breaking-out. Gripping pressure is always uniform around the pipe so there is little danger of crushing thin-walled pipe or damaging the pipe surface.  All safety clamps are heat-treated steel of high quality and are constructed to API specifications.
